Start your exciting excursion today by taking Asia’s highest elevator to the top of a towering mountain, where you’ll admire spectacular views, including the inspiration for the Hallelujah Mountains in the movie Avatar. Midway down the lofty peaks, discover 4-acre farmland, which had fed a local family for over 30 years and now provides a unique and idyllic view. Then, ascend Mt. Tianzi (Emperor Mountain) by cable car for breath-taking panoramic views before descending.

Days 3

Golden Whip Stream Hiking

Today is for your deeper exploration in Zhangjiajie National Park. You will soak up the serene beauty of the Golden Whip Stream as you hike along the winding and jingling water. Your guide will share stories behind each site and lead you through some off-the-beaten paths, such as Luanchuan Slop, Shadao Gorge, and Wangqiaotai Platform. During the 6-to-8-hour circular route, wild animals, unknown herbs, and uncharted destinations make it a great opportunity to greet nature.

Days 4

Ten-Mile Gallery, Baofeng Lake, Hawk's Nest Stockade Village

Explore the extensive forest park by walking along the Ten-Mile Gallery, named for its diverse natural beauty. Then, take a leisurely row on Baofeng Lake to appreciate the lush vegetation and clear waters. You’ll make a stop at the Hawk’s Nest Stockade Village, once a hideout for bandits, now renowned for its zigzagging, steep hiking trails. This route can dumbfound many tourists while appealing to outdoor fanciers with its fairytale-like atmosphere.

Days 5

Yellow Stone Village and Yangjiajie

Embark on your thousand-meter-high skywalk after a cable car ride to the Yellow Stone Village. Known as the “Miniature Palace of Heaven”, the area takes advantage of its altitude to provide stunning panoramic views of diverse peaks. Stand on a deck reaching out from a cliff for a thrilling experience.

The next stop is Yangjiajie, where you can step onto the Daguantai Observation Platform to appreciate its four major views—sunrise, stone forest, snow, and sea of clouds, depending on the time of your visit. Another must-see is the natural “Great Wall”—a majestic flat stone peak complex.

Days 6

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon With the Glass Bridge, the Yellow Dragon Cave

Get a rush of adrenaline as you walk across the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge spanning the Grand Canyon, then delve into the underground world in Yellow Dragon Cave!

A shuttle bus will take you near the 400-meter-long glass bridge. Walking on it, gazing down the running river far below, must be an unforgettable experience. You can make another adventure by taking a ropeway or slide way down before starting your expedition along the valley. The cascades and rivers make it a serene outing, which may ease your tiredness during the 4-mile-long hike.

In the afternoon, marvel at the subterranean palace of ancient stalactites and stalagmites while exploring the Yellow Dragon Cave.

Days 7

Tianmen Mountain, Departure

Enjoy the morning with relaxation and leisure. Then, drive approximately 1 hour to the downtown to take the world’s longest cable car (7,455m) to Tianmen Mountain. You’ll enjoy views of the tranquil misty mountains during the ride, climb 999 steps to reach Tianmen Cave – a natural hole through the mountainside, a sanctuary for both ancient people seeking immortality and modern wingsuit flying lovers – and experience an exciting walk on the glass walkways by the cliffs.

In the afternoon, your private transfer will escort you to the airport (a 20-minute drive) for your flight or train to your next destination.
