In the morning, take a high-speed train to Zhangjiajie (2 hours). Upon arrival, your new guide will escort you to, ride the world’s longest cable car (7,455 meters) from downtown to the top of Tianmen Mountain. This 30-minute journey transitions from the bustling city to the tranquil, mist-covered mountains. At the summit, admire the famous Tianmen Cave, a natural hole through the mountainside, which symbolizes the path to immortality for many. Don’t miss the glass-bottom walkways along the cliffs for breathtaking views.

Begin your day at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, part of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, with a thrilling ride on the 326-meter-high Bailong Elevator. Marvel at the World’s First Bridge, a natural stone arch 2 meters wide and over 300 meters high. Take in the mesmerizing sight of the pillar-like peaks, including Hallelujah Peak, the inspiration behind Avatar’s Floating Mountains. Ascend Mt. Tianzi by cable car for stunning vistas of the surrounding peaks from over 1,200 meters high. Conclude your day adventure with a scenic train ride along the Ten-Mile Gallery, admiring imaginative rock formations.

Start your day immersed in the tranquil beauty of Golden Whip Stream. As you embark on a 3-hour walk along the Golden Whip Stream, you’ll be surrounded by soothing streams, dense forests, and striking rock formations.

Next, explore the Yellow Dragon Cave, a vast underground palace adorned with ancient stalactites and stalagmites. As you journey through this subterranean marvel, your guide will reveal captivating tales of its formation and history.

Travel to Fenghuang Old Town, stop first at Furong Old Town, a 1-hour drive from Zhangjiajie. Discover the “town hung on waterfalls”, surrounded by water and featuring unique stilted buildings showcasing ancient wisdom.

After breakfast, our tour guide will escort you back to Zhangjiajie Airport from Phoenix Town for your flight to the next destination. The journey will take about 4 hours.
