Itineraries

Day 1

Suzhou

Begin at a silk workshop where you will witness how quaint cocoons are transformed into luxurious fabrics. Then, at the Silk Embroidery Research Institute, marvel at intricate, lifelike images of animals, landscapes, and figures stitched with hair-thin silk threads. Later, at the Sandalwood Fan Factory, get involved with creating a fragrant sandalwood fan, once a symbol of scholarly refinement. Finally, visit the Taohuawu New Year Painting Museum and appreciate traditional woodblock prints.
Days 1

Hong Kong Arrival & Airport Transfer

Welcome to Hong Kong, this vibrant and culturally rich Oriental metropolis. After you arrive at the airport or West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, your private English-speaking guide will pick you up and take you to your hotel using private transportation. Once you’ve checked in, you can explore the city on your own for the remaining time. The English signage throughout the city makes navigation relatively easy for you.

Days 2

Victoria Peak, Tai Kwun, Man Mo Temple, Ding Ding Tram, Star Ferry, Repulse Bay

Dive into the heart of the city to witness the most iconic highlights.

Ride the Peak Tram, in operation since 1888, to ascend Victoria Peak, where you can overlook the city skyline and Victoria Harbor. Proceed to Repulse Bay, a tranquil beach known for its soft, white sands and nearby temples. Visit the ancient Man Mo Temple, then explore the Central Mid-Levels Escalator area, discovering Central Market and Tai Kwun.

Your guide will accompany you on the “Ding Ding Tram” (Hong Kong Tram) during your exploration of Hong Kong Island, allowing you to admire the cityscape, experience daily life in Hong Kong, and learn about its history and culture.

Your journey concludes with a ferry ride on the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui.

Days 3

Wong Tai Sin Temple, Walled City Park, Hong Kong Palace Museum, Mong Kok

Your journey today begins at Wong Tai Sin Temple, where you can experience traditional divination rituals called “Kau Cim” and partake in Chinese fortune-telling.

Later, visit Kowloon Walled City Park, situated on the grounds of the former Kowloon Walled City, once the world’s most densely populated community. Explore the history of the poignant slum, which served as inspiration for many cyberpunk films and existed beyond the jurisdiction of Hong Kong law.

Afterward, head to the bustling district of Mong Kok to explore local markets such as the Ladies’ Market, the Flower Market, and the Bird Garden. Your journey will continue to the Hong Kong Palace Museum, where you can find a diverse collection of Chinese art and historical artifacts.

Days 4

Hong Kong - Departure

It’s time to bid farewell to Hong Kong. You will take the private transfer to Hong Kong International Airport or West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. Hong Kong, until we meet again!
