The charming city of Guilin attracts numerous travelers. This 4-day tour is one of the most classic itineraries to enjoy this city at a leisurely rate. Visit the must-see Reed Flute Cave in Guilin and cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. You'll see picturesque karst landscape along the river during the cruise tour. Spend two days in Yangshuo to experience its slow lifestyle, cook the local cuisine, ride a bike along the Yulong River to enjoy the view of the idyllic countryside, or roam along the lively West Street.

Itineraries

Day 1

Suzhou

Begin at a silk workshop where you will witness how quaint cocoons are transformed into luxurious fabrics. Then, at the Silk Embroidery Research Institute, marvel at intricate, lifelike images of animals, landscapes, and figures stitched with hair-thin silk threads. Later, at the Sandalwood Fan Factory, get involved with creating a fragrant sandalwood fan, once a symbol of scholarly refinement. Finally, visit the Taohuawu New Year Painting Museum and appreciate traditional woodblock prints.

Days 1

Arrival, Reed Flute Cave

Welcome to the scenic Guilin!

Before heading to the downtown hotel, your tour guide will accompany you to visit the Reed Flute Cave and discover its unique stalactites and stalagmites in every shape.

Days 2

Li River Cruise, West Street

After breakfast, be transferred to Zhujiang pier to start the 4-hour Li River cruise down to Yangshuo. Cave, peak cluster and peak forest are the three many landscapes of Guilin Karsts landform. Yesterday, you saw the cave. Today, during the cruise, you will be amazed by the rolling peaks and their beautiful reflections in the green water.

After the cruise, stroll through West Street and then be transferred to your hotel for checking-in. The rest time is yours to relax at the hotel or explore the town on your own.

Days 3

Cooking Class, Walking/Biking Tour along the Yulong River

Cooking Class, Walking/Biking Tour along the Yulong River

This morning, you will join a small group to get hands-on experience with Chinese cooking. The chef will conduct you on the ingredients collocation, seasoning selection, heat control, and cooking method. It is one of the best ways to learn about local cuisine culture as well as the most meaningful souvenir from China for your families.

In the afternoon, take a walking or biking tour in the countryside of Yangshuo to see the towering pinnacles (Peak forest), paddies, orchards, and villages along the picturesque Yulong River.

Days 4

Yangshuo - Guilin - Departure

Have a leisurely morning to enjoy the tranquility surrounding your hotel. Meet your guide and driver at the appointed time and then heading to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
