Itineraries

Day 1

Suzhou

Begin at a silk workshop where you will witness how quaint cocoons are transformed into luxurious fabrics. Then, at the Silk Embroidery Research Institute, marvel at intricate, lifelike images of animals, landscapes, and figures stitched with hair-thin silk threads. Later, at the Sandalwood Fan Factory, get involved with creating a fragrant sandalwood fan, once a symbol of scholarly refinement. Finally, visit the Taohuawu New Year Painting Museum and appreciate traditional woodblock prints.

Days 1

Wuyuan, Huangling Village

Upon arriving in Wuyuan, you will be greeted by the charm of this picturesque destination. Board a train that will take you on a delightful journey to Huangling Village, where you will spend the night. As you traverse the scenic countryside, anticipation builds for the experiences ahead.

Days 2

Huangling Village, Tunxi Old Street

Discover the vibrant hues of Huangling Village. Golden rapeseed fields adorn the landscape during the springtime. As harvest season arrives, hundreds of traditional Huizhou-style dwellings, nestled amidst a picturesque tapestry, bask in the sun. Red chili peppers and yellow chrysanthemums grace the drying racks, painting a scene of autumnal splendor. Ascend on a cable car to behold the terraced fields of Huangling, layered and intertwined in shades of yellow and green.

Afterward, drive to Tunxi for a night stay, continuing your journey through this wondrous region.

Days 3

Huangshan Scenic Area

After breakfast, venture outwards to Mount Huangshan. Board a cable car from Yungu Station. As you ascend higher, nature’s astonishing craftsmanship unfolds before your eyes.

Enter the Beihai scenic area and marvel at the peculiar and intricate shapes of massive rocks that stand proudly, while resilient pine trees thrive amidst the crevices. If luck is on your side, you may witness the mesmerizing spectacle of clouds serenely drifting between the peaks, creating a breathtaking sight.

Days 4

Hongcun Village, Departure

Descend from the mountain via the cable car and set off on a captivating journey to Hongcun. This well-preserved ancient village welcomes you with its traditional architecture and elegant manners. Take your time to explore its narrow lanes, admire the exquisite courtyards, and soak in the timeless charm that defines this cultural gem.

In the afternoon, it will be time to bid farewell to this enchanting village as you either return home or continue your adventure to your next destination, seamlessly arranging transportation by airplane or train to suit your needs.
